Erk Russell Classic Set for Aug. 22 in Paulson Stadium

Four high schools will face off in two games.
STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern's Paulson Stadium will serve as the site of the fourth annual Erk Russell Classic Aug. 22, as four high school football teams kick off their 2015 seasons.
Sponsored by The Heritage Group in honor of legendary Georgia Southern Coach Erk Russell, this year's event features Statesboro, North Oconee, Coffee County and Burke County.
North Oconee will take on Coffee County in the first game at 5 p.m., and Statesboro will play Burke County at 8 p.m. Admission is $15 at the door, and tickets will also be available for sale at the four participating schools.
All proceeds from the Erk Russell Classic are donated to the Erk Russell Scholarship through the Erk Russell Endowment.
